Kelvion Ecobraze GNS Series brazed plate heat exchangers are designed and developed specifically for use in corrosive liquids containing ammonia, sulfite or sulfate. It offers all the advantages of a standard copper brazed plate heat exchanger, but the brazing is done using a nickel alloy. This makes it more resistant to corrosive environments.
GNS Series Nickel brazed plate heat exchangers can optionally be produced with different plate materials such as SMO254 for fluids that are corrosive to stainless steel or contain chlorine.
Safety Chamber™
The patented Safety Chamber™ absorbs thermal stress and pressure surges acting on the plates. Under overload conditions, the contact points around the heat exchanger ports flex with the load and help prevent leakage. This is a proprietary Kelvion safety feature.
Delta Injection™
Developed specifically for refrigeration applications, the patented Delta Injection™ feature distributes the refrigerant evenly as soon as it enters the heat exchanger, enabling high-performance evaporation. Under overload conditions, the contact points around the ports flex with the load and help prevent leakage. This is a proprietary Kelvion safety feature.
