Kelvion (formerly GEA WTT) brand brazed plate heat exchangers offer special solutions for different applications. Thanks to our production diversity, automation and compact designs, we have the opportunity to produce customer-specific models in a very short time. Depending on the application area, we can choose the most economical and compact model among copper brazed, nickel brazed or Vaclnox type plate heat exchangers, with accessories and connection type compatible with the customer's needs.
GBS Series Brazed plate heat exchangers offer economical solutions in different applications with their flexible application possibilities and diversity. It has an excellent price/performance ratio thanks to its model diversity. It is copper brazed, has strong performance, and allows multiple uses due to its different size options. It has a usage range from 31 bar to +200 °C.
Safety Chamber™
The patented Safety Chamber™ absorbs thermal stress and pressure surges acting on the plates. Under overload conditions, the contact points around the heat exchanger ports flex with the load and help prevent leakage. This is a proprietary Kelvion safety feature.
Delta Injection™
Developed specifically for refrigeration applications, the patented Delta Injection™ feature distributes the refrigerant evenly as soon as it enters the heat exchanger, enabling high-performance evaporation. Under overload conditions, the contact points around the ports flex with the load and help prevent leakage. This is a proprietary Kelvion safety feature.
