BRAND HISTORY AND SERVICE

From GEA to Kelvion:
Identify your equipment.

Use the nameplate and technical records when requesting parts or service for older equipment.

The 2015 brand change

Arasta’s announcement dated 9 November 2015 records the change from the former GEA Heat Exchangers activities to the Kelvion brand. This history does not establish that every item carrying a GEA name belongs to the Kelvion portfolio or that old and new parts are interchangeable.

The 2020 centenary announcement is also historical. Its staffing and site figures are not presented as current company information.

Identify the actual equipment

Record the manufacturer, exact model, serial number and year from the nameplate. Include existing drawings, plate and gasket information and photographs of the required part. Compatibility needs equipment records, not a brand name alone.

Before a service discussion

  • Readable nameplate and equipment photographs
  • Model, serial number and technical documents
  • Fluids, operating conditions and the observed issue
  • Required parts, maintenance or capacity review
