Identify the circuit boundaries
Show the separated circuits and fluids on a drawing. Distinguish normal operation from design conditions and confirm the limits of connected equipment.
Describe load and temperatures
Assess flow rates, approach temperatures and allowable pressure drops together. The checked Kelvion overview lists NX at 31 bar design pressure and NP at 33 bar(g); these are family values, not a universal device operating point.
Define the measurement boundary
Energy and availability targets belong to the complete system. A claimed saving or PUE change requires project calculations and a defined measurement boundary.
Prepare for the discussion
- Fluids, composition and relevant material requirements
- Flow rates and inlet/outlet temperatures on both circuits
- Design conditions and allowable pressure drop on each side
- Exact model, nameplate and current technical documents
