NP Series Plate Heat Exchangers for small temperature approaches and high operating pressures
High-rise cooling, data-centre cooling and district-cooling applications require gasketed plate heat exchangers that withstand high pressure while achieving small temperature approaches economically. Kelvion’s R&D engineering team designed a heat exchanger for these requirements and added it to the product portfolio, NP Series Plate Heat Exchangers. The NP150X was the first plate model in the new NP Series. The NP250L model was subsequently added to the series.
A narrower plate gap and closely spaced corrugations deliver maximum heat-transfer performance. This geometry is suitable for applications with extremely small temperature differences and achieves high NTU values. The NP Series meets the most demanding pressure standards and withstands an exceptionally high test pressure of up to 42 bar(g).
